The CM Punjab Green Tractors Scheme Phase 2 is one of the most important agricultural initiatives launched by the Government of Punjab to support farmers with modern, high-quality tractors at a subsidy of up to Rs. 1 million. This program is designed to empower small and medium-scale farmers, improve crop yields, and promote advanced farming technology across the province.
However, before you apply, it’s essential to understand the eligibility criteria. The government has set clear rules to ensure that the scheme benefits the most deserving farmers. This guide will walk you through every requirement so you can check your eligibility before starting the application process.
1. Must Be a Permanent Resident of Punjab
Only farmers who are permanent residents of Punjab are eligible for the scheme. Your CNIC address and land record must confirm your residence in the province. Applications from outside Punjab will not be considered.
2. Land Ownership Between 1 and 50 Acres
Applicants must own at least 1 acre and no more than 50 acres of agricultural land. This requirement ensures that subsidies go to small and medium farmers instead of large-scale commercial farms.
3. Verifiable Land Record
Your land ownership details must be recorded in the Punjab Land Record Management & Information System (LRMIS). This verification process prevents fraud and ensures transparency in the scheme.
4. Valid Computerized National Identity Card (CNIC)
A valid CNIC is compulsory. Your CNIC must be current (not expired) and the details should match the information provided in your application form.
5. Registered Mobile Number
The mobile number provided in your application must be registered in your own name. This number will be used by the government to notify you of application updates, balloting results, and payment instructions.
6. No Previous Tractor from Government Schemes
If you have already received a tractor in any previous government subsidy scheme, you are not eligible to apply in this phase. This rule ensures that new farmers get the opportunity to benefit.
7. Not a Bank Defaulter
Applicants must not be defaulters of any bank or government financial institution. Farmers with unpaid loans or negative credit records will not qualify for the scheme.
8. PSER Survey Completion
The Punjab Socio-Economic Registry (PSER) survey must be completed before applying. This database is used to verify your income level and eligibility for government assistance.
9. Clean Legal Record
Applicants must have no involvement in illegal or anti-state activities. Any farmer with a criminal record may be disqualified from the scheme.

Why These Criteria Matter
These rules are designed to ensure that the CM Punjab Green Tractors Scheme Phase 2 reaches those who truly need it. By limiting eligibility to small and medium-scale farmers with clean records and verifiable documents, the government can deliver subsidies fairly and transparently.
